Is there anything dreamier than golden light? Booking your family photography session at golden hour is a sure fire way to ensure dramatic, warmth-filled photos. There's something about that golden glow that sets everyone at ease, and lets your family truly shine. This family has a special place in my heart. That mama right there, she's my cousin. And she's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. When I was just beginning my career in photography, she and her then fiancee (now husband) allowed me to take their engagement photos. Last year, I was invited to photograph their family.
I love an outdoor family photography session, but this one really took the cake. Thanks to the pandemic, it had been 3 years since my cousin and I had seen each other. In that time frame, she had been married and had a baby. This was the first time I had met her little boy, and let me tell you he is a GEM.
He is full of love and light and laughter, and if you went to my About page, you would know that love and light are a few of my favorite things. This family photography session was filled with love, and beautiful golden light.
